The size guide is NOT accurate at all. I ordered an xs for my toy poodle due to it saying it will fit a 12 inch dog and due to the note saying their sizing runs larger than normal. The actual length of the garment is 10 1/2 inches - so no this will never fit a dog that is 12 inches or even 11 inches in length. Also, the picture shows a red bow for the hood and small bows on the legs, but my garment came with neither of these things. There is a green bow HOT GLUED to the hood and no bows on the legs. For a $60 dog outfit this is absolutely unacceptable. Not to mention the manufacture had some kind of problem and instead of shipping in 2 weeks as noted I got it a month and a half later. The fabric is very high quality, so if you can deal with all of the above it would be a cute outfit.
