Announces Dog Howl-O-Ween
Costume Contest

announced today they will
be holding in-store and online Dog
Halloween Costume Contests
for all of their stylish four-legged clients.
Online contestants have until October 27th to send in a photo
of their dog
in his or her favorite Halloween costume. Submissions will be judged by
customers and the winner will be announced on Howl-O-Ween Day (October
31). The
winner of the online contest will receive a $200 gift card to
FunnyFur.com and
their photo on the Halloween page of the website.
The in-store Howl-O-Ween Contest will be held at the Funny Fur
Houston boutique
on Friday, October 30 at 7pm. The dog Halloween Costume Contest will be
judged
by local business owners contributing to the event and the winner will
be
announced at the end of the event. Prizes for the in-store event
include a $200
gift card to FunnyFur.com, a custom painting by DixieDogDesign.com, a
FREE
Grooming Session at Good Dog Grooming Salon, and plenty of doggie
goodies. Event
activities include Scary Fashion Show, Doggie Speed Racing, Doggie Nail
Painting, and more. RSVP early to be entered in the raffle giveaway.

Pet parents doubtful of their costume creation abilities can

There is an entry fee of $5.00 for both the online and
in-store events. 100%
of all proceeds will be donated. The online
entry fee will be donated to the Best Friends Animal Society, the
nation's
largest sanctuary for homeless animals. The in-store event will accept
donations for all activities. The contest entry fee of $5 plus
donations will
be donated to the Houston SPCA, Houston’s first and largest
animal protection
organization and shelter.
