The
Wowo Double Bowl Raised Feeder is available in seven different finishes
and comes with two heavy stainless steel bowls.
Bowls are removable for easy cleaning. Each Wowo feeding station is
hand made and finished at Vurv Design in Canada.
Only high quality materials, real wood veneers, and polyurethane
varnish are used - so these stations are made to last.

About
Vurv Designs
Vurv
products are clean, modern and minimal
but also warm and inviting, because of the combination of simple
elegant designs, gorgeous materials and hand craftsmanship. Small scale
manufacturing means they are produced alongside a wide variety of
custom modern furniture pieces, by craftspeople who care about what
they are making. So when you buy a Vurv pet product, you are buying an
original.
They either use North
American sourced hardwood veneers, or one of two imported veneers. The
first is a wenge veneer made by Alpi in Italy, who follow
stringent environmental practices. It is shredded, dyed and pressed
from plantation grown Poplar wood. While it has a rich and gorgeous
exotic appearance, it is not harvested from a rain forest. The second is a bamboo
veneer made by Teregren in the U.S. Their bamboo is sustainably
harvested, then manufactured into veneers and panel products in the
United States.
Vurv
uses a polyurethane varnish on all pet products. Not only does
this finish have very good water resistance and a tough finish, it also
has a warm soft glow that laquer or conversion finishes are lacking. It
also requires much lower levels of solvent in its application than
laquer does. This means less pollution. The disadvantage to this type
of finish is the long curing time - and this is the main reason it is
not used by more professionals. They also use a HVLP (high volume, low
pressure) spray system to apply this finish, which has 65 - 90%
efficiency, versus only 20% - 30% efficiency on a conventional spray
system.
