Funny Fur to Host Annual Halloween Party and Dog Costume Contest
Howl-O-Ween pet contestants to compete for Funny Fur gift cards and other prizes. Pets to strut down the black carpet in dog costumes at Funny Fur’s annual Scary Fashion Show.

Funny Fur, a leading online and Houston luxury pet boutique specializing in designer dog clothes and Halloween dog costumes, announces they are hosting their annual non-profit Howl-O-Ween Party and Scary Fashion Show.
There will be an in-store Howl-O-Ween costume contest at the Funny Fur pet boutique in Houston, as well as an online costume contest open to pet owners everywhere. The in-store contest will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will feature a Halloween themed fashion show and pet costume contest for dogs, as well as other pet-themed activities including silent auctions, raffles and more. Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served throughout the event for both humans and pets. A $10 minimum donation will be accepted for participation in the festivities with all proceeds benefiting Friends For Life pet rescue. Local business owners and volunteers will judge the grand-prize costume contest winner. Winner will be announced at the end of the evening and awarded a $100 gift card to Funny Fur.
The online contest is open to all pet owners who want to show off their costumed fur babies. Customers will judge submissions on Funny Fur’s Facebook page and the winner will be awarded a $100 gift card to the Funny Fur online store. This year’s must-have dog costumes include the Scarecrow Witch dog costume, complete with witch hat, and the Octo-Hound dog costume, a fun costume for boy dogs. All photo entries should be submitted by October 24th, 2013.
