Returns & Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied, simply return the item purchased in original condition within 14 days of delivery (return shipping date on package must be post marked within 14 days of you receiving your order) for a full merchandise exchange, or refund for store credit or issue return to your original credit card used for the purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your original shipping charges. Merchandise must be returned in unused, like-new, and resalable condition. ALL ORIGINAL TAGS MUST BE ATTACHED. There can be no dog hair, smell, stains on items, and any other sign of use. We reserve the right to refuse a return or charge a restocking fee if these conditions are not met. 

Please allow two to three weeks for the processing of your return/exchange.  A 10% restocking charge will be applied to all returns.  The first exchange is complimentary and will not incur any restocking fees.  A 10% restocking charge will be applied to each subsequent exchange.


We will happily exchange a defective product or one that is damaged in shipment to you.  Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can promptly assist you.  In such a case and solely at our discretion, you may be responsible for the cost of the return shipment to us. We are not responsible for any item that is lost in return shipment. We strongly encourage you to place insurance on any items you send back to us.  Upon your request and our receipt of the returned products, we will issue refunds for returned products.  We will return payment, less shipping charges, to you within 30 days of your request. We will only return store credit or payments in the manner in which they were made (i.e. if you paid with a credit card, the refund would be issued back to your credit card).


Return Instructions


Please contact us and have your Customer Order Receipt available. We are available via email at customerservice@funnyfur.com or via phone at 1-877-DOGG.FUN (1-877-364-4386 or direct at 281-759-5999).  We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for each return/exchange, which is valid for 30 days from date of original order delivery. A valid RMA number must be included with your return and labeled clearly on your return package in order to assure proper credit. We are not responsible for merchandise returned without a valid RMA number.

You can specify on the RMA Form if you wish to exchange for different size, different product (include product name and any option specifications), store credit, or refund back to your credit card from the original purchase. 




Personalized, custom made, items purchased on sale or discounted price, seasonal holiday items, and other special order items are not refundable and are final sales.  Due to health regulations, all pet treats, chews &perishables, grooming & spa care, pet beds, and plush toys are non-refundable and considered final sale.  If you need assistance, we will be happy to help you answer any product questions and find what's right for your pet.  Clearance and SALE items are considered FINAL SALE.  Clothing, collar, and harness items purchased on sale which do not fall under other categories (custom order, seasonal/holiday, personalized, etc.) may be allowed a one time exchanged for different size or store credit less 20% restocking fee.  Please take the time to find the best size for your dog. If you are not sure, feel free to contact us for assistance with sizing or with any product questions.


Please note that if you received free shipping (orders over $300 or free shipping promotion) on your order and later decide to return part or all of your order, we will issue refund for the items returned, less the actual shipping charge not to exceed 10% of total original order. For example, if you make an order for $310 (orders over $300 shipped to continental US receive free shipping), then later decide to return an item priced at $60, we will issue a refund for total amount of $45.05 (returned item for $60 less $14.95 shipping). 


Carriers & Pet Furniture


Returned carriers (carriers, strollers, carrier blankets, etc) and pet furniture (everything in furniture category including beds, dens, mats, etc.) items will receive refund for merchandise amount less 10% restocking fee, and shipping and handling charges of $15 (if free shipping was received on the initial order).    

Shipping Refunds


Except in cases where the return is the result of a shipping error or the item arrives damaged or defective, original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel part or your entire order after your credit card has been charged and the order has been processed but not shipped, you may be charged a 5% restocking fee to cover the credit card fees associated with your order.


Gift Cards & Certificates

Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or returned for cash, credit or check.

Shipping Date and Processing Times


Order processing generally takes 1-3 business days from time of order placement for items we have in stock. Custom, personalized, and special order items may take longer. Please refer to the individual product description for ordering processing times ("usually ships").  Note that certain products we carry are made to order by the designer and may take 3-8 weeks.  Sometimes order processing times may be delayed if one item is out of stock on your order.  We try to send everything in one package to reduce shipping cost charged to you. Our Customer Service Representatives will notify you if any unforeseen delays arise.  Sorry, no CODs.


Standard Shipping (3-5 Business Days)


Orders shipped standard ground (default method) usually take 3-5 business days to delivery from the time we process and ship the goods (shipping date). Ground packages with Texas destination address usually arrive next day. 


Two Day Shipping (2 Business Days)


Orders shipped next day usually take 2 business days to delivery from the time we process and ship the goods (shipping date). 


Next Day Shipping (1 Business Days)


Orders shipped next day usually take 1 business day to delivery from the time we process and ship the goods (shipping date).

Additional shipping cost may be charged in addition to the Shipping Costs as listed in the table above for all orders with total package weight greater than 5lbs.  We will notify you via email of the additional charge prior to shipping your order. If you would like to obtain the exact shipping cost prior to placing order, please contact us prior to placing an order on our website.


Oversize & Large Packages


Oversize items (larger pet carriers, pet strollers, pet furniture) will have an additional oversize shipping fee.  As shipping cost vary significantly by zip code (USA), country, and size of package, the shipping fee charged during Check Out is based on standard packages less than 5lbs.  After your shipment is packed and we know the exact shipping cost, we will notify you for approval of any additional fees prior to charging your card and ship out.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  This helps us streamline our shipping process and keeps shipping cost low and reasonable for all customers.


International Shipping


Funny Fur serves customers and ships to Canada, Japan, Great Britain, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Europe (Italy, Germany, France, and Switzerland), Australia, and other international destinations.  If your delivery destination is not noted above, please send us an email at info@funnyfur.com and our Customer Service will help you determine whether we can deliver to your international location and provide you estimated shipping cost. WE ONLY SHIP TO THE BILLING ADDRESS ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS. The following shipping rate table is for international orders up to 3 lbs. Orders with packages greater than 3 lbs will be assessed additional shipping charges. The "usually ships" time in the product detail is how long it takes for the item to leave our warehouse. Once the shipment leaves our warehouse, it usually takes 7-14 business days transit time (Standard International) and 3-5 business days transit time (International Express) to arrive at the international destination. All shipping times are subject to your customs.  Any order with pet furniture and/or other large items will usually have additional shipping charges. To keep shipping cost low, we suggest making a list of all items and making a large purchase versus making several small purchases. We will notify you of any additional shipping charge prior to shipping your order.  If you would like to obtain the exact shipping cost prior to placing order, please contact us prior to placing an order on our website.

Additional Custom Fees, Import Taxes, and other fees may be charged by your government (shipping destination's government) and will be billed to you separately.  We use DHL Express, UPS, and USPS for international carrier and custom brokerage services.  Please do not hesitate to contact us for an estimate of these fees prior to placing an order. 


Please note that all prices are in USD.  Order cancellations on international orders will incur a 5% restocking fee to cover the credit card fees for the order and cancellation.


Carriers Used


UPS, USPS, FedEx, or DHL will be used at the sole discretion of Funny Fur and our suppliers, when shipped directly from them. All items will be traceable and insured for your protection. We do not accept C.O.D.


Order Tracking


Once we process your order and ship out your order, we will send an order confirmation email to you with your common carrier shipment or order tracking number which provides the status of your shipment and estimated date and time of delivery. Items may arrive earlier than indicated. If the shipment has not arrived after the indicated delivery date, please contact the common carrier with your shipment or order tracking number to obtain delivery status on your order.


Lost or Damaged Parcels


We do our best to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Most parcels reach their destination promptly and without incident. However, sometimes a parcel is lost, damaged, or stolen in transit. All parcels shipped are insured by the common carrier for full merchandise value. We are not responsible for parcels lost, damaged, or stolen in transit. Please contact the common carrier used (information will be in your order confirmation email) to file a claim.


Undeliverable Parcel


If the common carrier is unable to deliver the shipment for any reason, whether unclaimed, refused, invalid or unknown address, or any other reason, we will, upon return of the shipment to us, charge a 20% restocking fee for the entire purchase price, less shipping and handling fees, which are non-refundable. If you wish for us to resend your shipment, you will be charged additional shipping charges.


Sales Tax and Other Fees


Funny Fur shall automatically charge and withhold applicable sales tax of 8.25% for orders to be delivered to addresses within Texas, including state and local sales taxes.  International customers are responsible for all applicable export taxes, custom fees, and other fees related to their order.
